Our Policies

Office & Check-in Hours 8 am to 10 pm

Age Policy:  Guests must be 21+ years old or have an adult over 21 staying in the room.

Deposit Policy:  100% of the full stay will be authorized approximately 48 hours before check-in on the credit card used at booking to secure your room, unless other arrangements are made with Oregon Trail Inn ahead of time.  Credit Cards are charged at check-out.

Cash Pay:  Room charge plus $200 deposit is due at the time of check-in and is good for up to a two-night stay.  Cash deposits on longer stays may be more.  A credit card may be put on file in lieu of a cash deposit. 

Cancellation Policy:  Please give 24 hours notice for any cancellations or early departures.  If you do so 100% of your deposit will be returned.  Less than 48 hours notice and you will be charged for the cost of a one-night stay.  

Multi-Room Cancellation Policy:   Booking more than three rooms may differ.  Please call 208-543-8814 for details.

No-Show Policy:  No-shows will be charged 100% of the amount of a one-night stay.  

Check-In:  Check-in begins 3:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM.  If you will be arriving late (after 10:00 PM) please call 208-543-8814 between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM to make arrangements in advance.  

Check-Out:  Before 11:00 AM.  If your scheduled departure does not coincide with this check-out time, please call the front desk between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM to see if a late check-out is available.  We will make every effort to accommodate you.  

Pet Policy:  Pets are always welcome at the Oregon Trail Inn.  Pet fee is $10 per stay up to two pets.  Please reserve the appropriate room type by letting us know you are traveling with a pet in advance of your arrival.  Just add (1) on the Pet Fee Page at check-out.  We do require you pick up after your pet in all areas of the property.  If you need waste bags please let us know.  Guests are responsible for any damages, including any damage done by pets. 

Smoking Policy:  Smoking is NOT permitted in rooms or any indoor area (except the designated smoking shack).  Smoking is allowed outdoors, please be courteous to other nonsmoking guests.  Please dispose of butts and garbage in the appropriate receptacles.   Smoking in a room will result in a $100.00 per night cleaning fee as we do have to close the room until we can make it pleasant for nonsmokers.  

Taxes:  6% sales tax and 2% Hospitality tax is added to room rate at time of booking.  Applicable taxes are subject to change without notice.  

Damages/Missing Items:  Guest are responsible for missing items and/or any damages done to the room or property.
